My dentist tells me that I should brush three times a day, for two minutes each time.

That seems, to me, to be a reasonable amount of time to invest in my dental health.

Does it to you?

If my math is right, that means I am expected to spend 42 minutes a week on my teeth, and so are you.

Again, that just seems like a reasonable investment in time and effort to keep my teeth healthy for the rest of my life.  Right?

By the same token, does it not make sense to invest time and energy every week to maximize the function of our nervous system?

I am talking about the system that brings Life to the trillions of cells of your body, runs your body’s every function, runs your chemistry, senses and responds to your world and allows you to experience your emotions and your life.

Investing time every week to live clear of subluxations and express maximum life just makes sense, doesn’t it?

You, your children and everyone on the planet deserves to live fully connected to your innate intelligence, the power that made you, heals you, restores you and guides you through life!

My migraines, Johnny’s asthma, or something similar. My response is always the same.

Do not own your diagnose, labels and symptoms.

They are not yours.  They are the result of your body functioning improperly, or they are the result of your innate trying to teach you something. Have you ever thought about getting quiet and asking what is this “symptom or condition” trying to teach me?

In 2013 let’s own our bodies infinite, internal and eternal healing power! Our innate intelligence. Every time you come for your adjustment remind yourself that the real purpose of your chiropractic adjustment is to keep you fully connected to this power!

Continue reading »]]> As I have processed the events in Connecticut from last Friday, the following four thoughts keep repeating within me.

• What we resist, persists.
• We do not weave the web of life, we are merely a strand in it; whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves.  We are all related.
• We all originated from perfect love, from which we have become separated; how do we get back to this Source of all love, all peace, all healing and all understanding.
• We must be the change that we want to see in the world.

This weeks message is a tough one but IS TRANSFORMATIVE if applied.

We, as a race, need to embrace the fact that each of us is a cell in the body of humanity.  We cannot be separated from one another in thoughts, feelings and actions.  WE, as Chief Seattle said are all part of the web of life.  We therefore, must embrace the terror and horror the children and teachers must have experienced last Friday morning.  We must feel the loss that the families of those who died must be feeling because, in actuality through the interconnectedness of all life, we did also lose our children. We also must realize that the person who had become so disconnected from Source, from the Love of all Loves, was also a cell in the body of humanity.

There are ancient teachings from all cultures that all point to the same truth.  The outer world is an expression of our inner worlds.  When we connect to the grief, the horror, and the shock, we are actually connecting to places WITHIN ourselves.  By the same token, there must be a place of “no love” within each of us. A place of rage, a place of whatever the cell in the body of humanity who pulled the trigger was feeling within himself, exists within each of us.  The wisdom of all cultures tells us that if we want to truly heal the body of humanity and minimize the chance of such events recurring in the future, we cannot resist this opportunity to heal.  I chose to reflect this weekend on the times in my life in which, through my thoughts, feelings and words I have committed murder.

In doing so I touched parts of myself which had become disconnected from the SOURCE OF ALL LOVE, which loved me into existence.  By not resisting this exercise I have freed myself up to become more peaceful, more loving and more connected to the body of humanity.  To live in communion with all of my brothers and sisters and to realize that whatever I see in another, whether I see it as beautiful or ugly, is, in fact, a reflection of me.  I then release these parts of me (and the body of humanity) with these words.  I am sorry, please forgive me, thank you, I love you.  I do it until I feel it release.

Living in this awareness and constantly releasing along with staying fully connected to SOURCE through regular chiropractic adjustments keeps me moving along the path towards Christ like love.  Why don’t we all commit to this path as we move forward as a family.  It can only help.  It can only heal.

Continue reading »]]> This weekend we hosted a seminar at which some of the best chiropractors in Canada, if not the world came together to share their wisdom.  Multitudes of seemingly miraculous healings were presented by each speaker.

There was a common thread in each lecture.  The message was consistently about the unlimited capacity to heal, revivify and recreate that exists within each and every one of us.

The message was about the fact that this capacity is dependent upon the flow of LIFE from above, down – inside, out.  From brain to body, without interference.

The other side of the message was that the sole responsibility of the chiropractor is not to heal, but to remove subluxations.  Our only responsibility is to keep humanity free of life limiting subluxations.

It boils down to this:

Chiropractors are not parts people; we are power people.

Going forward, as you receive your adjustment focus not on the parts of yourself.  Realize that when you are living in a subluxated state every cell of your body, every component of your being is starving for life force.

As your chiropractor restores the flow of your innate intelligence, know that every part of you is being bathed with an infinitely intelligent, powerful, capable and loving power which can and will heal you, revivify you, recreate you and guide you from that moment in time forward.

If you focus on your parts, you limit the possibilities that lay dormant within you, waiting to express themselves and move you forward in your healing and evolution.

Argue for your limitations and they are yours.

Our self talk, the sometimes incessant chatter that we carry in our minds, shapes our experience and forecasts our future.  Chronic patterns of negative thinking and self talk will sabotage goals and can affect our health. The founder of chiropractic, DD Palmer found that subluxations can be caused by traumas, toxins and toxic thoughts.  I call them mental subluxations and it is imperative that we correct them.  BJ Palmer wrote that innate thoughts are positive in nature will thoughts of the educated mind tend to be negative.

How do we correct these mental subluxations?

The first step is by becoming aware of them.  Often times, our self talk tape is running and we have no idea consciously of the chatter.  Wake up!  Work on becoming aware of every thought you think.  Then replace the negative thought with a more constructive thought.  If you look in the mirror and the thought is; “I’m fat.”  Change it to an expression of how you would love to look.  As me mentor Dr Sid Williams says:

Quit saying I can’t and start saying I can!

Step two is to be persistent in changing your mental sate.

Finally, stop programming yourself with negative input.  Read positive, growth centred material, turn off the TV, socialize with positive people and start looking at challenges as evolutionary opportunities instead of problems.  You will also be expressing more of your authentic self as you break this programming down.

As EE Cummings reminded us:

To be nobody but yourself

in a world which is doing its best, night and day,

to make you everybody else

means to fight the hardest battle

which any human being can fight;

and never stop fighting.

Remember what you think about comes about.
